Bremotion made a clear statement at the NASCAR Euro Series season opener in Valencia. The motorsport team and tuning company from Frankfurt am Main presented itself in top form right from the start and underlined its ambition to play a central role this season with strong results. Garrett Lowe secured the highlight of the weekend with a spectacular comeback and a podium finish on Sunday. Beitske Visser won the Ladies Trophy in her NASCAR debut, while Julien Rehberg impressed with a top-five finish. Only technical misfortune prevented an even stronger overall result.

It became clear in qualifying that Bremotion would have to fight: The #99 Chevrolet Camaro retired completely due to an ignition system problem. Garrett Lowe (V8GP) and Dominique Schaak (OPEN) had to fight their way through the field from the back – and they delivered.

Things went much better for the sister car: Beitske Visser made it straight into Superpole on her debut and qualified the #77 Camaro in seventh place. Julien Rehberg completed a solid starting position with 14th place.

#99 BS+Bremotion Racing: Lowe storms onto the podium

Garrett Lowe made his potential abundantly clear in the first race: Starting from last place, the American carved his way through the field, making some uncompromising overtaking maneuvers to finish seventh. He also secured third place in the Junior Trophy.

On Sunday, Lowe upped the ante once again: Starting from third on the grid, he fought at the front from the outset and established himself in the leading group for the entire race distance. With second place overall and a commanding victory in the Junior Trophy, he crowned a strong weekend – and sent a clear message to the competition.

Dominique Schaak also showed the pace for a top-10 finish, but was twice thwarted: On Saturday, a technical problem prematurely ended his charge. On Sunday, he was again on course for the front before a puncture dashed all his hopes. The final result in no way reflects his performance.

#77 Rehberg+Bremotion Racing: Visser triumphs, Rehberg delivers

The #77 Camaro also had significantly more potential than Saturday's results suggest: Julien Rehberg was involved in an early collision and retired. The damage also affected the OPEN race – Beitske Visser had to compete without power steering and still fought her way impressively through the field before a subsequent failure brought her to a halt.

On Sunday, Bremotion struck back: Rehberg delivered a flawless, strong race and secured a well-deserved fifth place in the V8GP standings. Visser confirmed her class, finishing in the top 10 of the OPEN class and taking a commanding victory in the Ladies Trophy – a perfect start.

“We gave exactly the right answer after qualifying and delivered on the track,” explains team principal Patrick Brenndörfer. “Garrett made a statement and is clearly one of the strongest drivers in the field this weekend. But Beitske and Julien also impressively demonstrated their quality. Without Dominique’s technical problems, there would have been significantly more potential. We’ll carry this momentum forward – and go all out in the next races.”

The next round of the NASCAR Euro Series will take place on May 23rd and 24th at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France. The races will be broadcast live in Germany on Sportdigital1+.
