Bremotion celebrates overall podium finish and class wins in Most
Bremotion returned from the NASCAR Euro Series summer break with a strong team performance. At the fourth race weekend of the season in Most, Czech Republic, Garrett Lowe secured third place overall and a victory in the Junior Trophy. Dominique Schaack impressed with two top-10 finishes and two podium places in the Masters Trophy. Beitske Visser celebrated two more wins in the Ladies Trophy, while Julien Rehberg lacked the necessary racing luck this weekend.
Qualifying on Saturday morning didn't go as planned for the four Bremotion drivers. Garrett Lowe qualified the #99 Chevrolet Camaro in 12th place in the V8GP class, while teammate Julien Rehberg could only manage 22nd in the #77. The field was also tightly packed in the OPEN class: Dominique Schaack qualified 14th, and Beitske Visser started from 22nd. This meant all four drivers had to fight their way back through the field in the races.
The start of the first V8GP race on Saturday held a scare for Lowe. In the chaotic first chicane, the American had to take evasive action and dropped to the back of the field. From there, he fought his way back with a strong recovery drive to tenth place overall and fourth in the Junior Trophy.
In the second race on Sunday, Lowe made another statement. Starting from sixth position, he initially lost two places in the first lap. The Bremotion driver then worked his way steadily through the field and crossed the finish line in third place overall, securing him the victory in the Junior Trophy.
Teammate Julien Rehberg, however, continued to be plagued by bad luck. In the first race, the youngster had to retire his #77 Chevrolet Camaro after just a few laps due to a broken driveshaft. On Sunday, Rehberg started from the back of the field and was already on a strong charge through the field when a power steering failure caused another premature retirement.
Dominique Schaack delivered a particularly strong performance. In the turbulent OPEN race on Saturday, the Magdeburg native stayed out of trouble and fought his way up to eighth place overall and second in the Masters Trophy with some impressive overtaking maneuvers. Schaack continued his flawless run on Sunday, securing ninth place overall and third in the Masters standings. The strong results from Lowe and Schaack also earned car #99 second place in the weekend's team standings.
Beitske Visser finished the two OPEN races in 14th and 15th place overall. On both days, the Dutchwoman was the highest-placed rider, thus celebrating two further victories in the Ladies Trophy.
“Our entire team showed great fighting spirit this weekend,” summarized Bremotion team principal Patrick Brenndörfer. “We didn’t let a difficult qualifying session discourage us and responded with strong comebacks on the track. The overall podium finish, the top-10 results, and the class wins are a great reward for the entire team’s hard work and give us extra motivation for the decisive phase of the championship.”
In just three weeks, on September 19th and 20th, 2026, the NASCAR Euro Series will be at the Autodromo di Vallelunga near Rome.
