The Frankfurt-based NASCAR team Bremotion is traveling to Belgium for the season finale with Garrett Lowe and Dominique Schaak – decisions in V8GP, Junior Trophy, Masters Trophy and team standings are still open.

Bremotion's intense and successful 2026 season is entering its decisive phase. At the NASCAR Euro Series finale on October 17th and 18th at Circuit Zolder, several championship decisions are at stake for the #99 Chevrolet Camaro. Sim racer Garrett Lowe, coming from the virtual eNASCAR world, is still fighting for the overall championship and the Junior Trophy title in the V8GP class. Dominique Schaak has a chance to win the Masters Trophy in the OPEN class. Together, the duo can also clinch the team championship for BS+Bremotion.

The season started anything but easily for car #99. Right from the opening race in Valencia, an ignition problem forced Lowe and Schaak to start from the back of the field. Nevertheless, Lowe fought his way up to seventh place in the first race. On Sunday, the first major success of the season followed with second place overall and victory in the Junior Trophy.

Lowe confirmed the potential of the #99 car at Circuit Paul Ricard, celebrating another victory in the Junior Trophy. Dominique Schaak impressed with consistent performances and also secured a podium finish in the Masters Trophy.

Lowe then achieved a particular highlight at Brands Hatch. Under difficult conditions, the American secured pole position, making NASCAR history: he became the first American driver ever to claim the best starting position in the European NASCAR series. For Bremotion, it was also their first pole position in almost three years.

Strong comeback after the summer break

After the summer break, Bremotion had one of its strongest weekends in Most, Czech Republic. Following a comeback from the back of the field on Saturday, Lowe finished third overall in the second race and secured another victory in the Junior Trophy.

Schaak also delivered a strong weekend. With overall finishes of eighth and ninth, the Magdeburg native twice cracked the top 10 and simultaneously secured second and third place in the Masters Trophy. The results of Lowe and Schaak also earned car #99 second place in the weekend's team standings.

At the first playoff weekend in Vallelunga, Bremotion finally focused its entire program on the #99 car. Lowe brought the Chevrolet Camaro into the top 10 in both V8GP races and secured two Junior Trophy podium finishes. Schaak collected further important championship points in two flawless races and maintained his third place in the Masters Trophy.

Four title chances before the final

This puts Bremotion in an exceptional position when they travel to Belgium. In all the standings relevant to car #99, they still have a chance at the title before the final two races.

Garrett Lowe is currently fifth in the V8GP standings with 334 points. He trails leader Vittorio Ghirelli by 47 points. The situation is even tighter in the Junior Trophy: Lowe is only five points behind Thomas Krasonis and therefore has an excellent chance of winning the junior title.

The title race is also not yet decided for Dominique Schaak. The Bremotion driver is currently in third place in the Masters Trophy standings. He is only four points behind Florian Richard and 35 points behind Masters leader Sandro Tavartkiladze.

Additionally, car #99 is fighting for the team championship. Operating under the official team name BS+Bremotion – a result of the collaboration with BS+COMPETITION, one of Germany's leading esports and sim racing teams and Lowe's sporting home – the team is currently in fourth place with 181 points, just 28 points behind championship leader PK Carsport. Hendriks Motorsport and Alumitec Racing are only nine and seven points ahead of the Frankfurt-based team, respectively.

The unique format of the season finale ensures that the final standings remain completely open: Double championship points will be awarded in both V8GP and both OPEN races at Zolder. A victory in each race will therefore bring 80 points.

“We do motorsport for weekends like this. We're coming to the last race of the season and with the #99 car we still have a chance in all the relevant categories. There's nothing left to manage in Zolder – we're going on the attack. I'm very proud of my team and what we've achieved this season. At the same time, I'd like to thank all the partners and sponsors who made this possible,” said Bremotion team principal Patrick Brenndörfer.

The race weekend begins on Saturday morning with qualifying for V8GP and OPEN. The first V8GP final race then starts at 1:45 PM, before Dominique Schaak takes to the track for the first OPEN final at 5:05 PM.

The final decision will be made on Sunday: The second OPEN race starts at 10:55 a.m. The sporting conclusion of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series will be the second V8GP race with Garrett Lowe at 1:55 p.m.

All races will be broadcast live, including on Sportdigital+, DAZN, and via livestream on the official YouTube channel . Photos: Nina Weinbrenner, Bart Dehaese, Bürosüd, Rings Content Factory
