Bremotion achieves two top-10 results at the NASCAR Euro Series in Vallelunga
Bremotion collected crucial points for the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season finale at the Autodromo Vallelunga in Italy during the penultimate race weekend. Garrett Lowe drove the #99 Chevrolet Camaro to a top-10 finish in both V8GP races and secured two podium finishes in the Junior Trophy. Teammate Dominique Schaak added further valuable championship points in the OPEN class and maintained his third-place position in the Masters Trophy.
The Frankfurt-based Bremotion racing team focused as planned on the #99 Chevrolet Camaro at the first playoff weekend of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series. In the V8GP championship, the car was driven by Garrett Lowe from the USA, while Dominique Schaak from Magdeburg competed in the OPEN class.
Garrett Lowe twice in the top 10 of the V8GP
Garrett Lowe laid the foundation for a successful weekend in Vallelunga with a strong qualifying performance. The American qualified the #99 Bremotion Chevrolet Camaro in fifth place on the starting grid.
The start to the first playoff semi-final on Saturday, in which double championship points were awarded, was not ideal. In the melee, Lowe was forced off the racing line and lost several positions. The Bremotion driver then fought his way back to the front and crossed the finish line in sixth place overall.
In the second V8GP race on Sunday, Lowe again engaged in numerous battles with his competitors and finished in ninth place. This gave the American two top-10 finishes at the NASCAR weekend in Vallelunga.
The weekend was particularly successful for Lowe in the Junior Trophy: with second place on Saturday and third place on Sunday, he finished on the podium in both races. Ahead of the season finale at Circuit Zolder, Lowe is currently in second place in the Junior Trophy overall standings.
In the V8GP championship, the Bremotion driver is currently sixth overall with two races remaining. Assuming a strong final weekend, the runner-up title is still within reach.
Dominique Schaak collects important points in the OPEN class
In the OPEN class, Dominique Schaak took the wheel of the #99 Chevrolet Camaro as usual. The driver from Magdeburg started the first playoff race from 16th position after qualifying.
Saturday's race was marked by numerous yellow flag periods, which made maintaining a consistent race rhythm difficult. Schaak stayed out of trouble and worked his way up to 13th place overall during the race.
The second race on Sunday coincided with the Bremotion driver's 36th birthday. Schaak finished 14th overall. In the Masters Trophy, he took fifth place on both Saturday and Sunday.
Ahead of the NASCAR Euro Series finale in Zolder, Dominique Schaak is currently in third place in the Masters Trophy overall standings. He holds eleventh position in the OPEN championship.
Bremotion in a good position before the NASCAR finale in Zolder
“We’ve put ourselves in a good position going into the final,” said Bremotion team principal Patrick Brenndörfer after the race weekend in Italy. “Both Garrett and Dominique drove flawless races, stayed out of trouble, and collected important points for the championship standings. We’re therefore heading to the final in Belgium with good chances of a strong finish to the season.”
For Bremotion, this marks the start of a successful 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season. The Frankfurt-based team is fighting for the team title, with Garrett Lowe aiming for top finishes in the V8GP and the Junior Trophy championship. Dominique Schaak still has a chance at a top-three finish in the Masters Trophy.
NASCAR Euro Series 2026: Season finale at Circuit Zolder
The decision in the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series will be made at the sixth and final race of the season at Circuit Zolder in Belgium. The final races will be held on October 17th and 18th, 2026.
