Bremotion achieved a significant milestone at the third weekend of the NASCAR Euro Series at the legendary Indy Circuit in Brands Hatch, Great Britain: Garret Lowe became the first American ever to secure pole position in the European NASCAR series, making history in the process. Julien Rehberg, Beitske Visser, and Dominique Schaak rounded out a strong weekend overall for the motorsport team and tuning company from Frankfurt am Main. At the halfway point of the season, Lowe is in third place in the V8GP standings, while all other Bremotion drivers are also in the top 10 of their respective championships.

Conditions at the third round of the NASCAR Euro Series were typically British: cool temperatures and periods of heavy rain made qualifying on Saturday morning a real challenge. However, Garret Lowe kept his cool in the #99 Chevrolet Camaro and delivered a flawless performance. The Bremotion driver secured his first pole position in the V8GP championship – the first American ever to achieve this feat. It was also Bremotion's first pole position in almost three years, since Tobias Dauenhauer last claimed the best starting position at their home race in Oschersleben.

Lowe's start to the first V8GP race on Saturday didn't go according to plan. After contact in the first corner, he ran slightly wide and lost several positions. Nevertheless, the Bremotion driver held his own in the top 10 and fought his way back up to sixth place overall in a turbulent, rain-soaked race that was prematurely ended two laps from the finish after an accident. He also secured second place in the Junior Trophy. In the second race on Sunday, Lowe was again on course for a top-10 finish before a collision with a competitor significantly impacted his race. After a spin and subsequent tire change, the American dropped back and ultimately had to settle for 16th place. Despite the unfortunate turn of events, Lowe maintains third place in the V8GP standings and thus remains within striking distance of the leaders.

Teammate Julien Rehberg, also competing in the V8GP championship, defied the difficult conditions on Saturday. The 19-year-old qualified 15th in the #77 Chevrolet Camaro and improved to 13th in the first race. On Sunday, Rehberg delivered a strong and flawless performance, which was rewarded with tenth place overall. Rehberg heads into the summer break in eighth place in the V8GP standings.

Beitske Visser and Dominique Schaak, competing in the OPEN class, also delivered solid performances. The 31-year-old Dutchwoman qualified her #77 Chevrolet Camaro in 16th place in the rain-soaked session and improved to 14th overall in both races. She also secured second place twice in the Ladies Trophy. Dominique Schaak also impressed with a solid performance in the rain on Saturday, qualifying in 15th position. In the first race, the Magdeburg native narrowly missed the top 10, finishing 12th. Schaak finished the second race in 15th place overall. This means that after three race weekends, all four Bremotion drivers are in the top 10 of their respective championships.

“Garrett’s pole position is a very special achievement for our team. Being the first American ever to secure pole position in the NASCAR Euro Series is a remarkable accomplishment and demonstrates his potential. He kept a cool head, especially under the challenging qualifying conditions, and delivered a flawless lap,” praised Bremotion team principal Patrick Brenndörfer. “I’m particularly pleased that we’re not only successful with Garrett. All of our drivers are in the top 10 of their respective championships at the halfway point of the season. This reflects the quality of our entire team. Julien has improved again, Beitske has achieved important results, and Dominique has delivered a strong performance, especially in the rain. Overall, we’re leaving Brands Hatch with a lot of confidence and are looking forward to attacking again in Most after the summer break.”

The NASCAR Euro Series is now entering its summer break. The fourth race weekend of the 2026 season will take place on August 29th and 30th at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic. All NASCAR Euro Series races will be broadcast live on Sportdigital1+ this year.
