SIM RACING

Patrick Brenndörfer was already one of the pioneers of today's SIM Racing at the end of the 1990s. Sierra Entertainment, publisher of the racing simulation of the 1967 Formula 1 season "Grand Prix Legends", was the main sponsor of the 1998 Formula Ford Team Sollath, in which Brenndörfer drove. In his function as a young driver, he was even allowed to participate in the development of the simulation and supervised a racing simulator at the Essen Motor Show on the Nürburgring GmbH stand. One of the reasons why Grand Prix Legends achieved cult status was that the Nürburgring-Nordschleife was realistically depicted for the first time. A good 20 years later, SIM Racing is part of the standard repertoire of every racing driver or team. In the 2019 season, Bremotion used this opportunity intensively to train karting climber Jan Philipp Springob. In conjunction with the experienced driver coach Marek Böckmann, the route was intensively trained before each race, thereby compensating for the lack of track time. This resulted in the founding of the "M&J Performance by Bremotion" team at the beginning of 2021, in which the Böckmann/Springob duo is currently fighting for victories in the "Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series" (DNLS) with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the top class "SP9". . An expansion of the Bremotion SIM racing program is planned for the next few years.
